Giving Back
I am clearly convinced that giving back in some form should be absolutely hardwired in our identity and businesses. Why? Because it's our responsibility. I personally think any donation, however small or big, that truly comes from the heart sends out positive signals into the world and makes a small change and may inspire others to follow.
To your right, you can see the pristine waterfalls and beautiful nature of the small Greek island of Samothraki. This island holds a special place in my heart, as it is where I received much of my breathwork education. Samothraki is a stunningly beautiful destination, filled with fig trees (unbelievably tasty btw), charming little streets, cozy cafés, and vast stretches of untouched, untamed nature. With no airport, the island remains a hidden gem, accessible only by a ferry that connects it to the Greek mainland twice a day.
A few years ago, wildfires devastated large portions of the island’s forests. Trees play a vital role in the ecosystem — something everybody is aware of. Additionally, I find it fascinating that the trees around us, which release oxygen, and the "trees" in our lungs, which absorb it, share a similar structure. In a way, trees are our second half of our lungs. This deep connection is why I donate 10% of my annual profits to initiatives dedicated to preserving Samothraki’s forests and natural beauty.
At the end of each year, I will post updates of ongoing initiatives. Stay tuned!
